Questions while playing K-Food Mahjong

How do I play?

Tap two tiles showing the same food to take them off the table. A tile can only be taken when nothing covers it and one of its left or right sides on the same layer is open. Tiles you can take are drawn brightly; the rest are dimmed. Eight special tiles — the teatime set and the four seasons — match anything inside their own group.

What is the goal?

Clear the whole table. There is no timer, no lives, and no way to fail — you can stop at any moment and come back to the same table later.

What is the journey?

100 levels in order, through the market lane, the home kitchen, and the rice cake shop. Boards grow as you go, up to 144 tiles across five layers. Every five completed levels adds one meal scene to the table album — 20 in all.

Hint, Undo, Shuffle

No pair is left and I have no shuffles

Use Undo to step back, or restart the table from Settings. Restarting keeps your collection and your completed levels — only this table's progress resets, and the 3 shuffles come back.

The tiles are too small

Tap Enlarge to zoom in and use the arrows to move around the table; Whole view takes you back. You can also turn on Larger text in Settings, or switch to Display names instead of pictures.

What is the collection?

42 Korean foods, ingredients, tools, and vessels, each with its Korean and English name and a short description. Tap a card to hear the Korean pronunciation. That audio is a synthetic voice, not a human recording.

How do I switch language, or turn the sound off?

Use Settings on the map or the game screen to change Language, Gentle sounds, Larger text, and the name/picture display.

Does it work without internet?

Yes, completely. Every illustration and pronunciation file is inside the app, and it makes no network requests at all — turn on airplane mode and it plays exactly the same.

Will I lose my progress?

Progress, completions, table rewards, the collection, and settings are saved automatically on your device. Nothing is sent to a server and there is no cloud sync, so deleting the app can remove the saved data and recovery is not guaranteed. Please do not delete the app as a first troubleshooting step.

Still stuck?

Write to contact@appisode.com with your device model, OS version, app version, the level number, and what you did just before the problem. The app never sends your progress anywhere, so anything we need has to come from you.
