Questions while playing K-Food Pop
How do I play?
Swap two side-by-side pieces to line up three or more of the same food. They clear, new pieces fall in, and you get closer to the level goal. A swap that makes no match simply bounces back — it does not use a move.
What is the goal of a level?
It is written at the top of the screen. Some levels ask for a score, some ask you to clear acorn-jelly layers, some ask you to bring ingredients down to the pot, and some ask you to fill an order. Other levels combine more than one goal.
What are the special pieces?
- Skewer — match four in a row. It clears a whole row or column, in the direction the skewer points, stopping at a millstone.
- Ssam (wrap) — match an L or T shape. It bursts twice.
- Bibimbap — match five in a row. Swap it with a neighboring basic food piece to clear every piece of that color on the board.
- Gimbap — match a 2×2 square. It rolls off on its own and hits whatever the level is asking you to clear.
Swap two special pieces together to activate a combined effect. Try it.
What is the Menu (Recipe Book)?
Use the Menu button at the top of the map. Every food in the game has a card explaining what it does on the board and what the dish actually is. The descriptions use your selected language; English food names also show their Korean names. Nothing there is locked — it is all open from the first day.
I ran out of moves
Nothing is lost. There are no lives and nothing to wait for — you can try the same level again straight away, as many times as you like.
Chopsticks and Service (the two boosters)
Chopsticks pick one piece off the board. The first time you earn three stars on a level, you get one. Service adds five moves; the first time you finish each market, you get two. They are never sold, and there is nothing to buy in this app.
The board is stuck — nothing can be matched
It reshuffles itself. You do not have to do anything, and it does not cost you a move.
How do I switch language, or turn the sound off?
Use the gear on the map or game screen to change the language, sound, and visual effects.
Does it work without internet?
Yes, completely. The app makes no network requests at all — turn on airplane mode and it plays exactly the same.
Will I lose my progress?
Stars and high scores from completed levels, boosters, and settings are saved automatically on your device. A level in progress is not saved. Nothing is backed up to a server, so deleting the app removes the saved data.

어떻게 하는 게임인가요
서로 붙어 있는 두 조각의 자리를 바꿔 같은 음식을 셋 이상 한 줄로 세우시면 됩니다. 그 조각들이 사라지고 새 조각이 내려오며 목표에 가까워집니다. 맞지 않는 자리 바꿈은 그냥 되돌아올 뿐이고, 실패한 자리 바꿈에는 남은 수가 줄지 않습니다.
판마다 목표가 무엇인가요
화면 위에 적혀 있습니다. 점수를 채우는 판, 도토리묵을 모두 걷어내는 판, 재료를 아래 국물 솥까지 내려보내는 판, 주문을 채우는 판이 있습니다. 여러 목표를 함께 달성하는 판도 있습니다.
특수 조각들은 무엇인가요
- 꼬치 — 넷을 한 줄로. 꼬챙이가 향한 방향으로 한 줄을 지우며, 맷돌을 만나면 멈춥니다.
- 쌈 — L자·T자 모양으로. 두 번 터집니다.
- 비빔밥 — 다섯을 한 줄로. 이웃한 기본 음식 조각과 바꾸면 같은 색 음식이 모두 사라집니다.
- 김밥 — 2×2 정사각형으로. 스스로 굴러가 그 판의 목표를 칩니다.
특수 조각끼리 바꾸면 조합 효과가 발동합니다. 해 보세요.
메뉴판은 무엇인가요
지도 화면 위쪽의 메뉴판 버튼을 누르세요. 이 게임에 나오는 음식마다 «판에서 하는 일»과 «이게 무슨 음식인지»가 선택한 언어로 적혀 있습니다. 영어 화면의 음식 이름에는 한국어 이름도 함께 보입니다. 잠긴 것이 하나도 없습니다 — 첫날부터 전부 열려 있습니다.
수를 다 썼습니다
잃는 것이 없습니다. 목숨(라이프)도, 기다릴 것도 없어서 같은 판을 바로 다시, 몇 번이든 하실 수 있습니다.
젓가락과 서비스(부스터 둘)
젓가락은 조각 하나를 집어냅니다. 각 레벨에서 처음 별 3개를 얻으면 1개를 받습니다. 서비스는 수를 다섯 더 줍니다. 각 무대를 처음 마치면 2개를 받습니다. 파는 것이 아니고, 이 앱에는 살 수 있는 것이 아무것도 없습니다.
바꿀 자리가 하나도 없습니다
판이 알아서 다시 섞입니다. 하실 것이 없고, 수도 깎이지 않습니다.
언어를 바꾸거나 소리를 끄고 싶습니다
지도나 게임 화면의 톱니 버튼에서 언어, 소리와 시각 효과를 바꿀 수 있습니다.
인터넷 없이도 되나요
완전히 됩니다. 이 앱은 네트워크 요청을 하나도 하지 않습니다 — 비행기 모드를 켜셔도 똑같습니다.
진행한 것이 없어지지 않나요
완료한 레벨의 별과 최고 점수, 보유 부스터, 설정은 기기에 자동으로 저장됩니다. 진행 중인 판은 저장되지 않습니다. 서버에 백업되지 않으므로 앱을 지우시면 함께 사라집니다.
